The MEGA Fuse & Holder is a complete, ready-to-install fuse and holder combo built to protect the high-current side of your 12V, 24V and 48V electrical systems from overcurrent damage. Every kit ships fully assembled with a MEGA fuse fitted into a matching bolt-down holder, so there's no separate holder to source or fit. This 450A version is the highest rating in the MEGA range, alongside 175A and 250A options. All three share the same holder and fuse body dimensions, so you can step up or down a rating without changing your mounting position or cable runs. MEGA sits above MIDI in the range and is built for the heavy circuits — large inverter feeds, winch circuits and high-capacity lithium battery banks — where MIDI ratings run out. M8 stud-mounted, bolt-down terminals keep the connection tight under vibration, making the holder well suited to mobile applications such as 4WDs, caravans and off-grid battery systems. Rated to 72V DC with a maximum of 125V DC, it covers 12V, 24V and 48V setups with headroom to spare. A fuse protects the cable as much as the equipment on the end of it, so the rating needs to sit above the circuit's normal running current but below what your cable can safely carry. At 450A that matters more than at any other rating in the range, since the cable has to be sized to match.
