Firmtech A by Agrosta is a firmness tester with turntable dedicated to : Either small soft fruits and berries or Fine texture profile analysis of a wide range of products Precision and rigidity where it matters Soft fruit or cosmetic cream and pharmaceuticals deform by fractions of a millimetre under a few grams of force, so small instrument errors quickly become large errors in the result. FIRMTECH A is designed around that constraint: ±0.01 mm positioning accuracy of the carriage, so compression travel is measured to the hundredth of a millimetre. 0.2 g force resolution, fine enough to detect the first contact with a sample and to resolve small firmness differences between samples. A rigid mechanical frame, which limits flex under load. The measured displacement reflects the sample’s deformation, not the instrument’s. Automatic homing and tare before every sample, so zero-position and force-offset drift do not accumulate across a batch.
