Their relaxed poses and assured expressions anchor the composition, while overlapping fields of purple, green, orange, and blue create a lively interplay of figure and decoration. The scene evokes both the intimacy of a domestic interior and the glamour of a staged portrait, celebrating beauty, confidence, and leisure. Published by Avant Arte, this limited-edition work combines archival pigment printing with 10 silkscreen layers on heavyweight 410 gsm Somerset Tub Sized Radiant White paper. Metallic shimmer, glitter, gloss varnish, and a matte varnish seal give the surface varied texture and reflective detail, adding depth to the intricate patterns. This example is hand-signed in pencil by Mickalene Thomas and numbered 39/568, and is accompanied by the Avant Arte Certificate of Authenticity.
