Selmer Paris Mark VI Tenor - 1967

The world's favourite saxophone, the Selmer Mark VI Prime time MkVI, arguably the best year of production and used by greats such as Michael Brecker, Dexter Gordon and Wayne Shorter, this thing absolutely blows! Playing with the gusto and freeness of a well lived in Mk VI, this instrument betrays it's heritage and prestige with a focused yet complex sound. Fair warning, this one has been played. As you can see in photos 5 & 6 the saxophone has been taken off and on a less than kind stands several times. This has no effect to its sound, patina and most importantly, its value. As played, and much enjoyed, by Jamie Anderson in our 'Vintage Vs New' Saxophones video. It had Jim mightily tempted too! No finance is available on this instrument, applications will be cancelled.
