The close even texture and beauty of Cherry have made it synonymous with fine woodworking projects. Black Cherry develops a rich reddish-brown patina as it ages. You can create the patina look with wood stains. Laser Compatibility: All Diode and CO2. Note: Glowforge does not recommend using MDF in the Aura or Spark. We have tested the MDF and it cuts well but creates more particulate matter which can raise issues with the filter. Venting outside seems to be fine as well as cleaning the machine after but you can decide if MDF is used in your Spark or Aura
