Chateau Duhart-Milon, Pauillac 2017

Chateau Duhart-Milon is a neighbouring property of Chateau Lafite Rothschild and was acquired by Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite in 1962. This is estate is classified as a 4th Growth in the 1855 classification but punches well above this ‘rating’! Soft subtle tannins that have aged gracefully, this is a real delight that offers grace and power in equal measure. A wine to be savoured with friends (although not too many) perhaps over a long Sunday lunch. As Max Riedel says ‘Wine Sunday is Wine Funday’! 12.5% vol.
