The Barco Njord CinemaScope is the benchmark for serious home cinema. It’s the most compact 9,000-lumen CinemaScope projector on the market, built around a native 2.37:1 aspect ratio 3-chip DLP engine -- which means true CinemaScope films fill your screen without an anamorphic lens. No optical compromise. No letterboxing. Just the image the director intended, projected at a scale most people have only seen in commercial theaters. Resolution is 5,120 x 2,160 (5K UHD) across three 0.9" DMD DLP chips. Contrast ratio hits 20,000:1 with DynaBlack enabled. The laser light source -- custom selected to deliver DCI/P3 color gamut -- is rated for up to 20,000 hours and includes constant light output (CLO) to maintain calibrated brightness throughout its life. Uniformity exceeds 90%, and the full 9,000 lumens can be dialed down to 4,000 for smaller rooms or lower ambient light environments. Barco’s Single Step Processing (SSP) moves signal from source to screen with minimal lag and zero processing artifacts. Pulse electronics handle 4K via HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2, alongside DisplayPort 1.2, HDBaseT, SDI, and full IP/RS-232/Crestron/Control4/RTI/Savant control integration. RealColor P7 calibration lets you dial in any desired color standard or white point with precision. This unit ships with the mid-throw TLD+ lens, 360-degree rotation capability, motorized lens shift (up to 97% vertical, 28% horizontal), HDR10, and active 3D support.
