Vintage Platinum 1.85ctw Diamond “Tie” Necklace

The first thing I thought when I saw this was, “It looks like a diamond necktie!” The second thing was, “I need this.” A unique design crafted in platinum, featuring a very cool center step-cut trapezoid diamond (approx. .40 ctw), topped with three square carré-cut diamonds and framed with a multitude of single-cut diamonds. I’d estimate this piece was made in the 1950s or before. Set on a platinum diamond-accented biker link chain, it’s got a real vibe going on. A perfect alternative to the usual solitaire.
