Troy Intaglio

Ready to ship Hand carved intaglio in blue magnesite Could be the Trojan horse in front of Troy… or it could be any royal steed in front of ancient castle... The charm is bezel set with hand fabricated bail and will hang from a heavy jump ring Measures apx 17.75mm across by 20mm from bail ** A note on Tagliamonte intaglios: These gems are handmade from incandescent glass whose color only presents itself once the piece has cooled. They are extremely labor intensive and skilled artisans use matrices based on ancient Roman designs to carve in to the glass. They are truly special and are imbued with a deep history. These intaglios are set with a heavy bezel that gives extra protection to the glass stone but take care when wearing.
