‘Sugar Bush’

Non-Alc, Ontario, Canada A perfectly sweet, utterly unique sparkling beverage from Ontario luminary Drea Scotland! A driven, knowledgable and spirited potion master, Drea’s project Drinks Farm extends from hybrid grapes to raw honey, to maple syrup, to fine herbs. We are so happy to be taken along for this delightful and evolving ride as she is moved to showcase local products in new and TASTY ways. She loving refers to this creation as “The Champagne of Trees” made from dark maple syrup, the most precious grade to those who make it. This one from her hometown in the Rideau Lakes and is made by Gunnebrooke Farms. FUN FACT! The monthol-y, cola-spiced birch bark and fruity birch leaf are extracted in tinctures and blended into the Vancouver Island salted soda! Drea’s personal favourite seasonal soda, she recommends enjoying it out of a wine glass, and we would suggest alongside an after-dinner chestnut cake, morning buckwheat crepes or as an afternoon pick-me-up.
