Bristol Rovers L/S home shirt 1981-1982 in Medium (extremely rare)

Extremely rare Bristol Rovers long-sleeved home shirt as worn in the season 1981-1982. Nowhere to be found online, only at Football & Vintage Amsterdam. Unreal shirt with beautiful team logo of The Pirates, which was only used this season. Bristol Rovers 1981–82 marked their first season back in the Third Division after relegation from the Second Division. The club finished 15th, with 18 wins, 9 draws and 19 defeats from 46 league matches, scoring 58 goals. Paul Randall was the leading scorer with 12 league goals. Rovers were eliminated by Fulham in the first round of the FA Cup and by Northampton Town in the second round of the League Cup. They also won the Gloucestershire Cup. The season was mainly about stabilising after relegation, and Rovers remained in the Third Division for the rest of the decade before eventually winning promotion in 1990.
