Vintage Green Enamel Swan Neck Wall Light by Cryselco

This vintage green enamel swan neck wall light, manufactured by British lighting maker Cryselco, was originally used to illuminate electrical substations in 1950s Britain. Dating from a period of rapid industrial growth, each green angled wall lamp features a distinctive parabolic enamel shade designed to direct light downwards and across a surface. The original green enamel shades retain a characterful patina from decades of industrial use, while the elegant swan-neck wall arm fixings have been carefully customised to complement the original factory finish. Fully restored and rewired in our Leicestershire workshop, this vintage industrial directional wall light is particularly effective for washing light across feature walls, artwork and work surfaces. Their wall-mounted design also makes them a practical alternative to pendant lighting in spaces with low or limited ceiling height. We offer two sizes of this fixture. This one is the smaller with a shade diameter of 305mm. The slightly larger one has a shade diameter of 350mm. A distinctive piece of mid-century British industrial lighting, combining original provenance, functional design and the unmistakable character of aged enamel.
