Danish Art Deco Satin Chrome Table Lamp

A Danish table lamp dated 1920s to 1930s, clean, modern and architectural in form. A slim satin chrome column rises from a low round base, broken by an ebonised wood ring detail, with proportions that are restrained and exact. The lamp has been rewired for EU use, with a twin fabric cord and a new bakelite lampholder. It is topped with a new conical linen shade in a pale blue by Astrid, which gives the lamp a soft, even glow.
