My Song Is Love Unknown

“My Song Is Love Unknown” is a narrative hymn on the death of Christ made of exquisite poetry by Samuel Crossman known for its irregular rhyme and dramatic contrasts as well as the emotional melodic tension and release of the musical composition by John Ireland purportedly written in just minutes centuries after the text. Accompanied by cinematic strings and the tender piano play of Keith, Kristyn leads the listener through another hymn appropriate not only for corporate singing but, as heard in this recording, personal reflection and devotional thought.
