An abalone builds its shell the slow way. It lays down a microscopic sheet of nacre, then another on top of it, for years in cold water, until the layers catch light the way nothing man-made can. No two shells grow the same, and no two patterns repeat. Nacre is built around that. It's a milled, solid stainless steel body with real abalone shell inlaid across the face and the Kraken mark standing up out of it in raised steel. Turn it in the light and the shell moves from green to violet to blue and back. The back is brushed steel with a small Kraken mark centered, quiet and clean. This one lives in the permanent collection. The design stays, but the shell doesn't repeat. Every inlay is cut from a different piece of abalone, so the marker in the photos is not the one you'll get. Yours carries its own pattern, and nobody else will ever own it.
