The positive locking clutch firmly clamps the double notch securely until it is released. Please note that these Replacement Backs can only be used with 0.034" Protektor posts for optimal secure locking. If the backing really slips off easily on your post, you may consider replacing the posts. Earring Back Pad OD: 6.2 mm, 7 mm and 8.5 mm, 18K palladium white gold is not alloyed with nickel, but with the hypoallergenic metal palladium. Made in USA.
