8/6, Friends Night Out

Date: Thursday, August 6th: 5-7pm No experience is necessary - so why not ask friends to join you! In this 2-hour class, you will design and build a 6x12” scene. You will nip or cut the glass to create your scene using glass strips, scrap glass, and/or “precuts” of your choice. We will first fuse your project flat, then slump it to take on the curved shape so it can stand up by itself. Cost includes all the glass and embellishments to make one fall landscape and two firings. You will need to purchase any precut shapes you choose to add to your project. Also, if you need a specific color of glass, you will have to purchase that. Bring: Safety glasses, if you don’t already wear glasses. No shorts or open-toed shoes.
