Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen VdF Tinus Marsanne Roussanne
Château de Tourettes is French wine icon Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen's project in the Southern France. After growing discontent with the vacillating nature of Burgundy in the late 90s, he and his wife Maine decided to not only redefine this estate, but also showcase the untapped potential of the Luberon region. This Marsanne-Roussanne blend is delightful, opening with rich and complex aromas of beeswax, dried fruit and honeyed notes. Full-bodied and textural, it has a rich mid-palate nicely balanced by a core or refreshing acidity and appetising bitters. A compelling take on this classic blend of white Rhône varieties, both generous and refined.
