About the finished Hornet With the hook size (3.5mm) and yarn type (light weight) I’m using, the final Hornet is around 30cm tall, and around 10cm wide (always measured at the widest part). The head is approx. 8cm wide at the widest part of the horns. Hornet cannot stand on her own without any additional support (in all pictures where she's shown standing, I've used something like a small wooden stick to keep her upright).
