The STP40 features a Ø40mm aperture and comes with a 1.5m pre-installed secondary cable (1.5mm2). The STP40 is quick and easy to install: connect the secondary cable to a ../5A instrument such as a network analyzer or kWh meter, then open the aperture without tools, and simply click the transformer around the cable and secure it with the included strips. If desired, the opening function can be locked after installation by tightening the locking screws. The STP40 series is compact and space-saving, while providing quick and safe installation, making it a cost-effective choice compared to installing standard current transformers where the load must be disconnected. Particularly advantageous for all types of active systems that require energy monitoring or load management.
