We are proud to announce this exciting new collaboration: The Studio Abachar Series. Each knife features laser-engraved artwork from world-renowned marine artist Amadeo Bachar. Amadeo's artwork has been published by National Geographic, the United Nations, NOAA, California Department of Fish & Wildlife, and many others. Inspired by traditional Japanese design, The Bunka is a 7-inch kitchen knife crafted for precision, balance, and versatility. It features a thin, high-performance blade paired with our full-tang interpretation of the classic Japanese Wa handle, designed with clean, straight lines and a gentle taper for comfort and control. The blade is made from AEB-L Swedish stainless steel, heat-treated and cryogenically treated to 61 HRC for exceptional sharpness, edge retention, and durability. With a 0.10-inch spine thickness, 2.0-inch height at the heel, full distal taper, and 0.010-inch thin edge geometry, The Bunka delivers effortless, precise cuts across a wide range of kitchen tasks.
