The low-stretch Poly-E flexes slightly through the cut, so the pull feels forgiving when you're learning to manage line tension. The handle floats in v-foam buoys between sets, and the UV-resistant Poly-E line holds its colour and strength through long days in direct sun better than standard polypropylene.
