The Jackall Vital Minnow adopts a non-low center of gravity design with a deeply scooped abdomen. By creating a balance that makes the lure intentionally prone to tipping over, it produces a sharp and crisp rolling action during mid-strolling and hover-strolling techniques. The body, designed with a high balance, allows for escape action to be created with a straight retrieve. The rib shape, designed with varying depth, thickness, and width in each section, generates fine continuous vibrations toward the tail, reproducing the behavior of fleeing bait. Due to the unique specific gravity and buoyancy balance of S.I.O Elastomer, its basic posture underwater is horizontal to slightly head-down. This posture directly improves response to all kinds of movements, including roll action during mid-strolling, as well as jerks and retrieves. Another major feature of S.I.O Elastomer is that it allows the use of materials so soft that they cannot be used with ordinary worm materials due to strength issues, resulting in more direct and sharp movements. They also demonstrate outstanding performance when used as a trailer for bladed jigs and the like. By hollowing out the abdomen and setting the center of gravity higher, it becomes easier to tip over during actions, especially in mid-strolling, contributing to the amplification of roll actions. When used with a no-sinker or nail rig, it enhances the sharpness of darting and escape actions. The head is thick to securely hold jig heads and treble hooks. The area from the abdomen to the rear is made thin to accommodate offset hooks, allowing the hook point to stand more easily and improve the hooking rate. The tail section adopts a horizontally oriented forked tail design. It suppresses excessive tipping and exerts a braking effect that stabilizes the swimming posture. Even during fast retrieves, it prevents sideways tipping and maintains action stability at a high level. Additionally, the tail, designed to be as thin as possible, responds swiftly to the angler's input and performs effectively even with gentle operation. The depth, thickness, and width of the ribs are set differently for each section, demonstrating outstanding action response. It is also designed to contribute to the role of a brake that suppresses travel distance. The dimples (indentations) provided on the back rear accurately capture water, improving action stability during mid-strolling. Furthermore, while enhancing straight-line stability during fast reeling, they also contribute to improving the action response of the tail section by regulating the water flow. With hook set assist lines provided on the back and front, stable hook setting is possible regardless of the hook shape or type.
