Join us for the Sober Girl Society Virtual Film Club 🎬💛✨ Settle in for a cosy evening of film, chats, connection and community as we come together online from 7:30pm–8:30pm for our very first film club session. This is your space to share thoughts, reactions, recommendations and all the good (and chaotic) film opinions with like-minded women 🫶 This month’s theme: 2000s teenage angst 🪩 This month’s film: Mean Girls 2004. Date: Monday 29th June Time: 7:30pm–8:30pm (UK time) Where: Online (You will be sent the Zoom link once you’ve purchased your ticket) Where to watch the film: You will need to watch the selected film before the session. It will be available on Netflix or ITVX How it works: - Watch the chosen film before the event - Join us online for a relaxed, open discussion - No pressure to be a “film expert” just come as you are and share your thoughts ✨ Our lovely host, Maddy, will be guiding the conversation and holding space for a really relaxed, fun and welcoming film club vibe Maddy is a sober girl originally from Scotland, now based in London. She has worked in Film and TV as a Camera Assistant for over 5 years, and brings a real passion for storytelling, cinema and community. With a background in both Film and Psychology, she’s created this space to feel safe, inclusive and completely judgement-free 🫶 This is a space to talk film, sobriety, recovery, and everything in between to share recommendations, laugh, connect, and maybe even find your new cinema buddy 💖 Whether you’re a film lover or just here for a cosy night in good company, this is for you✨ When you purchase a ticket, you’ll also get exclusive access to our Sober Girl Society WhatsApp community – a supportive space to connect, share, and grow with like-minded women on the same journey.
