Constructed from solid American black walnut or white oak — no veneers, no MDF, no particleboard — with rounded corners and beveled edges that soften the silhouette. Solid wood slats support your mattress directly, with airflow underneath, and are compatible with every Avocado mattress, from the Green to the Grand Luxe. No box spring required. A framed back edge on the optional headboard doubles as a shelf for the things that live near a bed — a vase, a plant, a phone on its charger. Finished by hand with Walrus Oil®. Assembly required.
