In a house full of Japanese maples, the section of 'Bronze Age' have demanded a lot of attention this summer, with bronze colored new growth over top of a darker green leaf. Found and introduced by Talon Buchholz, 'Bronze Age' may actually be a hybrid with a full moon Japanese maple and Acer palmatum. It is expected that 'Bronze Age' may reach 8-10 ft in 10 years.
