Collection of Four Antique Ushak runners

A very rare collection of four antique Ushak runners we have available, dating from the late 19th century. These were woven for a house in Scotland at the end of the last century. The sizes available are – One available 510 x 115 cm (16’9 x 3’9) Two available 740 x 116 cm (24’3 x 3’10) each And one enormous runner 910 x 96 cm (29’10 x 3’2) Link Their pile is thick and glossy, with soft wool you would expect from these densely piled antique Turkish runners. The weave on Oushak rugs is generally rather coarse using bigger knotting than Persian rugs.
