Rosso di Montalcino 'Ciampoleto' 2023
San Giorgio, located in Castelnuovo dell'Abate in the southeastern part of Montalcino, is now owned by their acclaimed neighbour, Poggio di Sotto, and share the same terroir: rocky soils at 400m overlooking the Orcia river and protected by Monte Amiata to the south. Rosso Ciampoleto is from the youngest vines, aged in large Slavonian casks, and is fresh and lively with juicy cherry and redcurrant fruit, floral notes and sweet spices, the palate silky and soft.
