This was created because I was experiencing consistent breakouts on my lower face and jawline from wearing disposable masks. After consistent wear of our mulberry silk masks since May 2020, my mask-ne has cleared up a lot. UNDERSTANDING SILK Mulberry silk is the finest in the market, where silkworms of the Bombyx mori moth are fed only with mulberry leaves. More refined than other types of silk, it is 100% natural, odourless and hypo-allergenic. Containing a natural protein called sericin that reduces possibilities of an allergic reaction, mulberry silk is commonly used for luxurious bedding and sleepwear products. Mulberry silk is highly recommended for acne-prone or sensitive skin. Every mask colour is carefully dyed, including the adjustable straps to match the silk colour, for a seamless look. CARE This is a sustainable option to disposable surgical masks. With the right care, silk products can last a long time. Hand wash only with mild detergent or shampoo. Do not wring, gently press off the water and hang dry (away from sunlight).
