Medium Espresso Roast. Comprised of 100% Arabica coffee beans Costa Rica and Bolivia. A full-bodied, rich coffee tasting of toffee apple. Delicious with milk or black. The Costa Rica comes from a family-owned group of farms with four generations of expertise, known for its regenerative agriculture practices, Cup of Excellence wins, and commitment to sustainability. Don José farm, the last property acquired by the family patriarch, represents both the history of the Alvarado family and Costa Rica’s enduring dedication to high-quality coffee. Juan Ramon Alvarado Rodriguez and his family manage and run the micro-mill and Juan takes great pride in what he does and is glad to have been able to generate employment and provide a positive economic impact to his community through coffee. The Bolivia is from Asociacion de Productores de Cafe Ecologico Regional Larecaja (APCERL) which was founded on July 30, 2001, by 120 coffee producers. The association has been Organic Certified since 2002, and since 2014, they have obtained the "Bird Friendly" distinction, awarded by the Smithsonian Institution. They believe that shade-grown coffee production is an effective tool for environmental conservation, and hope to establish business links with coffee buyers and roasters who appreciate and recognise the conservation efforts made by coffee producers within protected areas and national parks.
