Choosing the Right Size for Your Rooftop Tent: When selecting a size for your RTT, it’s perfectly fine to choose a size that’s slightly larger than your mattress — just avoid going smaller (but up to about 5 cm is ok) . A difference of 5–10 cm in length or width won’t affect fit or function, as the extra fabric is naturally distributed at both ends. Better a little extra than not enough!
