Kathy Marianito's 2nd Phase Navajo Chief Blanket using silk wool blend. So soft to the touch it can be worn over the shoulder. We call this wearable art! Only a handful of these have been woven with silk. Not only is it an expensive material it is very difficult to work with. 90 years young, Master Weaver Kathy Marianito is always busy at her loom! Extremely finely woven and how a Chief blanket would have been woven 100+ years ago! This weaving was completed in 2003 and tucked away for a couple decades. It is now available.
