This 2020 Big G is a bold and opulent Bordeaux-style blend from Holden Manz, boasting dark fruit intensity, savoury complexity and a seamless, long finish that's perfect for people seeking the premium Franschhoek reds. All grapes fermented wild. Cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot were harvested and cofermented in open top fermenters. Matured for 20 months in 30% new 225 litre French oak barrels. Big G stands out for its rigorous block selection and solera-style blending across vintages, delivering power, balance and layering that reward cellaring for up to 10 years.
