SPL Parts Front Adjustable Endlinks Short Version - 2013-2022+ Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S / Toyota GT 86 & GR86
The SPL Parts Front Adjustable Endlinks Short Version are designed for modified GR86, BRZ, GT86, and FR-S setups that need a shorter endlink length for proper sway bar clearance and geometry. These are ideal for cars running coilovers, aftermarket lower control arms, or other suspension modifications that alter the sway bar mounting points or required endlink length. Unlike the factory fixed-length endlinks, SPL’s adjustable design allows you to eliminate unwanted sway bar preload, set the correct sway bar angle, and properly dial in the front suspension. With massive PTFE-lined FK 1/2" bearings, heat-treated chromoly high-misalignment studs, and on-car adjustability, these endlinks are built for everything from daily-driven street cars to serious track setups. Key Features Short Version Design: Built for modified cars that require a shorter front endlink length for clearance and proper sway bar installation. Adjustable Length: Allows precise front sway bar angle setup and preload correction. Eliminates Sway Bar Preload: Helps reduce unwanted handling differences between left-hand and right-hand turns. High-Load FK Bearings: Massive PTFE-lined FK 1/2" bearings support use with stiffer aftermarket sway bars. Extreme Articulation: Custom heat-treated chromoly high-misalignment studs allow up to 65° of articulation to help prevent endlink bind. On-Car Adjustment: Opposing thread turnbuckle design allows length changes while the endlink is installed. Lightweight, High-Strength Construction: Built with anodized 6061-T6 aluminum turnbuckles and motorsport-grade rod ends. Daily to Race Use: Suitable for street cars, autocross builds, track cars, and race applications. Why We Like It These are the version you want when a standard OEM-length endlink is too long for your setup. Coilovers, aftermarket LCAs, and altered sway bar geometry can create clearance issues, and this shorter SPL endlink gives you the adjustment range needed to make the front sway bar sit correctly. The result is cleaner fitment, better suspension consistency, and more precise sway bar tuning. Short Version Fitment Notes Short Version Part: SPL FES FRS Adjustment Range: 7.40" to 8.90" / 188mm to 226mm, measured between mounting points Best For: Modified cars with coilovers, aftermarket lower control arms, or altered sway bar mounting geometry OEM-Length Version: SPL FE FRS OEM-Length Adjustment Range: 9.15" to 10.65" / 232mm to 271mm, measured between mounting points Benefits Large adjustment range for modified suspension setups Eliminates unwanted sway bar preload Helps correct front sway bar install angle Improves front sway bar response and tuning consistency Supports proper corner balancing Helps prevent endlink bind with adjustable sway bars Self-cleaning, US-made, PTFE-lined FK bearings Materials & Construction Turnbuckles: 6061-T6 aluminum, anodized black Rod Ends: FK PTFE-lined 65° studded rod ends Rod End Design: F1-spec, self-cleaning bearing design Studs: Custom heat-treated chromoly high-misalignment studs Easy, On-Car Adjustments The 6061-T6 aluminum turnbuckles use opposing right-hand and left-hand thread patterns, allowing the endlink length to be adjusted while installed on the vehicle. Simply turn the center turnbuckle to lengthen or shorten the link, then snug the jam nuts once the desired length is set. NVH Notes These front endlinks are a moderate contributor to noise, vibration, and harshness. Because the front sway bar connects the chassis to the strut assembly, spherical endlinks can transmit more tire and road noise into the chassis. They may also make occasional noise over uneven bumps, such as one-wheel speed bumps or sloped driveways. They do not typically increase ride harshness.
