Apparently the ancient Greeks had no name or concept for the color blue. While pondering the idea for this colorway, a friend mentioned that on a recent trip to Greece, she noticed burgundy hues in the sea while aboard a sailboat. YARN BASE I dyed it on Squoosh DK, which is a lovely soft and squishy yarn made of extra-soft superwash merino.
