Learn how to make the perfect loaf of sourdough bread! Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026 1pm to 3pm Vista Library Vista, California You will learn all about sourdough, and how to make a loaf of sourdough bread. We’ll explain fermentation and have a brief discussion about the benefits of making and eating fermenting foods We’ll show you how easy it is to start making naturally-leavened bread yourself at home! We’ll talk about how to maintain starter and what to do with leftover starter, aka “discard” We’ll serve samples of sourdough bread to try Copies of Austin’s book, Fearless Fermenting, will be available for purchase.
