Golden Bird Bowl

This summer studio time included family visits and clay activities. After demonstrating the art of hand building Gene and company began making some bird pots. Gene made a few bird sculpture bowls, this one big enough for table serving. The gold glaze is enhanced with black and white detail on wings and tail feathers.
