Model 141 Urchina – Pendant with a Sculptural Design LanguageUrchina is a sculptural pendant that brings together organic forms and our signature hand-pleated tradition. Inspired by the unique balance of structure and softness found in the sea urchin, the voluminous shade appears light and harmonious, while its precisely crafted pleats surround the light source to create a soft, comfortable illumination. The pendant is ideal above dining tables, in living spaces or anywhere light and form are intended to take centre stage.The hand-pleated shade is finished with light oak details that elegantly frame the design at both the top and bottom. Urchina is suspended from three fine wires, giving the pendant a light, almost floating appearance, while the cable falls freely in a gentle curve between the fixture and the ceiling. The specially designed canopy has been carefully proportioned to complement each of the collection's three sizes, creating a harmonious relationship between the suspension and the pendant itself.Designed by Jette Scheib, Urchina combines the organic forms of nature with our proud folding tradition and craftsmanship.
