'When Oceans Rise' 5x7 inch original painting

An original painting sized 5x7 inches titled ‘When Oceans Rise.’ . This painting is painted on professional watercolor paper with watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paint. This painting was inspired by one of my favorite Christian songs. Some of the lyrics read, “When oceans rise my soul will rest in Your embrace. For I am Yours, You are mine.” These lyrics perfectly encapsulate how I feel about the Savior. He has been a constant companion for me in sorrow and in joy. He does not abandon me when trials come, oceans rise, and storm clouds appear. He does not abandon me when the rain starts to pour. Instead, He walks through the storms with me, and carries me when necessary. It doesn’t mean that trials are easy, but it does me that soul finds rest in Him. I know that I can make it through any of my worst days because I am His, and He is mine. My favorite part about this painting are the sun rays that start to shine out of the clouds and Jesus approaches. He is the light, He will always be greater than the darkness.
