Design-to-print workflow The BY2-20 is designed to keep the DTF process clear from file setup through final output. Roland DG Connect Designer and VersaWorks 7 help prepare artwork, generate white layers, handle transparent PNG workflows, manage color, and send production-ready files to the printer. Prepare artwork: Set up the design and white base layer. Print to DTF film: Output the artwork in reverse using Roland S-PG2 inks. Apply DTF powder: Coat the wet ink with adhesive powder. Cure the transfer: Melt and cure the powder using a proper oven or shaker/dryer workflow. Heat press: Transfer the design to the garment using heat, pressure, and correct dwell time.
