WoodOwl Ultra Smooth Auger Bits are some of the finest bits available on the market. They feature a patented Tri-Cut design, which consists of three precision-ground cutting edges and three flutes for optimum performance. The unique head utilizes cutting spurs to scribe and bore extremely smooth holes with minimal blowout. Bits are coated with PTFE to minimize friction and allow quick, easy cutting and chip ejection, even in the stickiest of lumber. They also feature high strength and durability thanks to the fully induction-hardened high-carbon steel construction. All bits have a 7/16" quick-change shank.
