BLACK TREATED BOULDER MATRIX — QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA A one-of-one Australian boulder matrix opal, treated using Opal Boy's closely guarded process to turn the surrounding matrix deep black and bring the buried flashes of opal to life. Dark, rugged and unpredictable — this was the stone that first led us to Opal Boy and ultimately inspired the entire collection. Cut and treated by Opal Boy in Japan, then set into our heavy, old-school pendant setting — solid 925 sterling silver, thick backed and 100% hand bezel set.
