Sourced from organically farmed vineyards around Gamlitz in Sudsteiermark DAC, this wine combines purity, precision and vibrant acidity. The steep vineyards, cool microclimate and quartz-limestone soils create a Sauvignon Blanc with remarkable freshness and mineral tension. The grapes are harvested by hand before a short period of skin contact, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and around five months ageing on the fine lees. This careful winemaking preserves the wine's expressive aromatics and lively structure. The nose opens with white pear, lemon balm, lemon verbena and delicate green asparagus. The palate is vibrant and precise, offering citrus, crisp orchard fruit, herbal freshness and a pronounced mineral edge. The finish is long, energetic and refreshing, with lingering citrus and saline minerality.
