DESCRIPTION A gift box from Blu Costiera, the Amalfi Coast brand founded by Antonio and Raffaella, a husband-and-wife team who left law to build something out of the coast they loved. Inside: one Positano Sunray body soap and one soap dish hand-painted by artisans in Vietri sul Mare. The soap is spicy orange blossom — citrus and warm spice, the smell of a lemon grove in full sun. It is made in Italy, enriched with shea butter and jojoba oil, vegan and never tested on animals. The box itself is printed with the maiolica tile pattern you see on church domes and stair risers from Positano to Ravello: lemons, oranges, and white blossom on a yellow ground. The soap dish is the part that lasts. Vietri sul Mare has been painting ceramics on this coast for centuries, and the dish is made and painted by hand there — a real piece of Italian majolica that stays on the sink long after the soap is gone.
