Kind Time

Face Oka/Anyone® Face Oka is a Japanese artist and illustrator born in Tokyo in 1984. Face paints in acrylic on canvas, reducing his figures to a heavy black outline and a simple, unchanging smile. His work has been commissioned by HUMAN MADE, adidas, BEAMS, Stüssy, ISETAN and Richardson magazine. He is represented by Gallery Target in Tokyo, where he has held two solo exhibitions, and has shown at Japan House in London and Storyboard in Hong Kong. Anyone has worked with Face Oka on Kind Time, a deck of playing cards featuring original artwork of Tokyo schoolgirls made for the edition.
