I Suoli Spumante Rosato Metodo Classico (Rosé) 2019
I Suoli Spumante Rosato Metodo Classico is a fine, bone-dry sparkling rosé from the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, where old Nerello Mascalese vines on volcanic soils produce wines of unusual freshness, perfume and mineral tension. Made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, from organically farmed vines planted between 1920 and 1980 at 650–750 metres, the base wine is aged in tank and used oak before a second fermentation in bottle. It opens with cranberry, wild strawberry and raspberry, alongside pink peppercorn, herbal tea and a hint of citrus peel. The palate is crisp and savoury, with lively acidity, a fine bead and a clean, saline finish. This is an elegant and distinctive Etna sparkler, dry, fragrant and effortlessly drinkable, ideal as an aperitif or alongside seafood, sushi, light antipasti and warm evenings. *Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
