Textured Collar Necklace with White Sapphires

This oxidized sterling silver necklace features a textured half-circle "collar" pendant adorned with white sapphires. A hand-carved half circle with a crater like texture sparkles with three small white sapphires. The pendant sits on a matching sterling silver chain. This necklace was made via the lost wax casting method. It was originally hand-sculpted in wax and then transformed into solid sterling silver through the application of extreme heat and fire. The crater-like texture was created with the use of a hot tool on the wax!
