Stunning Tatreez Shawl Hand Embroidered in Palestine | Traditional Palestinian Tatreez

This lovely beige shawl from Palestine is hand stitched by women and features traditional Palestinian embroidery. The tatreez is from a traditional craft practiced by women in Palestinian villages working from home and is a skill passed on, the craft of traditional Palestinian tatreez. This is handcrafted by Manjel Ma'qoud, a women's embroidery group we formed in January of 2024 in response to the increasing pressure Palestinian women are under due to the ongoing and increasing Israeli closures and suffocation of the Palestinian economy. These designs are only available through Handmade Palestine and through your purchase, we are supporting 80 women and their families.
