Its Dual 1-Ohm voice coil configuration provides flexible wiring options for high-power amplifier systems. Built for extreme performance, the ZV7 features Sundown Audio's custom mega-platform frame, a massive quad-stacked 265 mm motor structure, and a 3.3" 4-layer round-wire aluminum voice coil wound on a thick aluminum former. The advanced motor incorporates an airflow-directing pole cap, six pole OD channels, sixteen gap vents, and a cross-drilled and slotted top plate to help keep the voice coil cool during demanding operation. With 42 mm of one-way linear X-Max, a 95 mm voice coil winding length, and an extensively FEA-optimized motor and suspension, the ZV7 is designed to deliver extremely deep bass extension with exceptionally low distortion.
