SnapSafe® 75419 32-Inch Out-Swing Vault Door – Black The SnapSafe® 75419 Vault Door provides a secure entrance for a gun room, safe room, closet, storm shelter, or other protected space. Its out-swing configuration opens away from the secured room, preserving valuable interior floor space and making it a practical choice for compact rooms or storage areas. The door and frame are constructed from heavy-duty 12-gauge steel. Nine 1-inch live locking bolts reinforce the locking edge, while a three-spoke slip-clutch handle helps protect the lock mechanism against excessive forced-entry torque. A UL Listed SecuRAM™ digital lock provides programmable electronic access. An EMP-resistant mechanical key backup offers an alternative entry method when electronic access is unavailable, and an interior release handle allows the door to be unlocked from inside the protected room. Designed for a standard 32-inch doorway, the vault door combines room-size access with a comparatively narrow footprint. Confirm that adequate unobstructed space is available outside the protected room for the door’s full outward swing. The opening must also be level, plumb, square, structurally suitable, and capable of supporting the approximately 330-pound assembly. SnapSafe recommends checking both diagonal rough-opening measurements; they should be within 1/4 inch of one another. Plastic shims, a four-foot or longer level, a square, a drill, a 1/4-inch drill bit, and one 9V battery are required but not included.
